Me. Nirmal Busgopaul

Nirmal Busgopaul is a qualified Barrister-at-Law at Busgopaul Chambers. 

Nirmal graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) with Honours from the University of Mauritius. Nirmal holds completed a Master of Laws (LL.M) in International Law with International Relations from the University of Kent, United Kingdom in 2007. Nirmal also holds a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) from BPP Law School in London before he was admitted to practice law as a Barrister in England & Wales. Nirmal was also called to the Mauritian Bar and regularly appears before the District Courts, Intermediate Court, Supreme Court of Mauritius, and various quasi-judicial tribunals.

Mr. Busgopaul has acquired international legal experience, having practiced in London in the areas of Immigration Law, Prison Law, and Personal Injury, and in New York, USA.

As a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, Mr. Busgopaul upholds the highest professional and ethical standards in legal practice. He leads Busgopaul Chambers with a commitment to excellence, integrity, and client-focused representation.
